JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re seeking a Nurse Manager responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the daily operations of In-Vitro Fertilization. 

  • Supervises clinical staff and facilitates communication with physicians and internal administrators to provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
  • Is recognized as a change agent and routinely leads efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
  • Adept at creative problem-solving, negotiating conflict, and collaborating with others.
  • Demonstrates insight, judgment, and clinically sound risk-taking.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Two years of experience as an RN with one (1) year of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • All nurses employed in roles requiring an unencumbered nursing license must have a valid, active license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Certification preferred. BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments

NOTE:

  • IVF Care Coordination Experience is preferred

Salary range: $30.12- 54.82/HR

  • The salary of the position is based on specific criteria met within the qualifications as well as the specialty area, relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

(Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
