We are looking for a candidate to be a Data Literacy resource. We are looking for a candidate with the following abilities/resources: 

• Develops, manage, and implement a structured training plan for data analysts and data consumers
• Creates and organizes curriculum/classes/workshops for data analysts (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
• Gathers feedback from data analysts and consumers to ensure training meets needs
• Maintains and updates self-service analytics resource center portal
• Maintains data catalog in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Plans and manages forums/events to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the data analytics user community
• Organizes, documents, and curates information regarding the location of data sets and analytics tools
• Conducts business analysis assessments of data needs and reporting needs
• Familiar with Epic reporting tools and Epic Cogito platform
• Familiar with a cloud analytics platform, AWS preferred
• Familiar with Scrum/agile methodologies

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides hand off support between the business and technical resources in application installation and maintenance of large scale applications.
  • Ensures appropriate integration across an application suite.
  • Ensures appropriate change management procedures are followed by all application teams.
  • Works closely with application technical support to ensure appropriate tools are developed and technical issues are resolved.
  • Uses established fact-finding procedures, knowledge of pertinent processes and procedures and in depth understanding of programming practices and software to provide required technical analysis of user problems.
  • Identifies, isolates, and solves complex application programming and technical problems within production clinical and business systems.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Performs most tasks with minimal direction from management.
  • Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment.
  • Must be able to lead and engage others in various IT tasks.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Mentors others.
  • Provides consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Seven years of application systems/administration experience OR five years experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Must be able to lead, engage, and mentor others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Must be proficient in three or more programming languages and/or application systems implemented in production.
  • Based on established hospital/department/unit standards, employees may not perform all duties listed in this job description.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (MediumMax 25lbs): up to 25 lbs, 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 25 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
